Once liability has been established there is sometimes insufficient time or a need for the parties to produce further information before the tribunal considers the issue of the remedy to award. A subsequent hearing to determine compensation or remedies for the worker will consider the worker’s schedule of loss, what attempts were taken by the worker to mitigate loss by, for example, finding another job and any supporting evidence.
